Traditional sourcing tools generally rely on exact part number or spreadsheet matching. Quidi uses AI to match parts by attributes and context, catching equivalencies and inconsistencies that manual or spreadsheet based sourcing misses.
Quidi analyzes supplier and part data to surface pricing trends, flag cost anomalies, and match equivalent parts across suppliers, giving sourcing teams the context they need before approving a purchase order.
Quidi Sourcing can work either way. If a live ERP connection is available, Quidi can stay aligned with the latest data through integration. If not, Quidi can operate from exported datasets such as a Material Master and related purchasing history, and those exports can be refreshed on a cadence that fits your operations, such as weekly or monthly.
A common approach is to use roughly the last three years of purchasing history and weight more recent activity more heavily, so recommendations reflect current supplier performance and pricing trends. For rarely purchased parts, there may be less direct history to learn from, so Quidi complements purchase history with available part attributes and similarity matching to surface the closest comparable items and vendors, along with the context that does exist.
Quidi calculates these metrics using your historical purchasing and receiving data. Lead time is calculated by measuring the time between when an order is placed and when the items are received, aggregated across historical transactions. On-time delivery is calculated by comparing actual receipt dates to the promised or expected delivery dates, and scoring deliveries based on whether they arrive on or before the committed date.
Semantic part matching uses AI to identify when parts from different suppliers are functionally the same item, even when descriptions, part numbers, or formatting differ, so buyers can compare and source accurately.
Quidi is a subscription-based product. Cost is based on the volume of parts, and there may be an additional fee based on integration complexity. We regularly review usage with customers to ensure they remain in the most appropriate pricing tier as additional facilities or invoice volume are added.
